The City of Brevard has announced adjustments to its solid waste and cardboard collection schedule in observance of the Good Friday holiday. The revised timetable will be in effect from March 30 through April 3, 2026.

On Monday, March 30, commercial garbage, residential garbage, and cardboard will be collected as usual for those on the Monday route. The same pattern will follow for Tuesday and Wednesday, with commercial and residential garbage, along with cardboard collection taking place on their respective days. Additionally, commercial recycling will also be picked up on Wednesday.

Thursday’s schedule remains unchanged for commercial garbage and cardboard collection. However, there will be no collections of any kind on Friday, April 3 due to the holiday. The city notes that there is no makeup day scheduled for missed services on this date.

Residents are reminded that the week of March 30 is not a designated week for residential recycling collection.
