City of Brevard seeks applicants for upcoming ABC Board vacancies

The City of Brevard announced on May 8 that it is accepting applications from city residents interested in serving on the Brevard ABC Board. The board, which operates under powers and duties set by state law, adopts rules for the local ABC system with approval from the state ABC Commission.

Two positions on the board will become vacant at the end of July 2026. Appointments are for a three-year term beginning in August 2026 and ending in July 2029. All applicants must be residents of the City of Brevard.

Applications are due by June 12, 2026. Interested individuals can apply online at cityofbrevard.com/boards by selecting the “Statutory/Code Committee Member” option.

According to city officials, applications will first be reviewed by the Finance, Human Resources and Citizen Appointments Committee before being forwarded to the Brevard City Council for final consideration.
