Park Avenue will be closed between East Main Street/Greenville Highway and Morningside Drive on June 1 while crews repair a water leak, according to a May 30 announcement from the City of Brevard. The closure is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue through the afternoon.

During the repairs, one lane will remain open between Parkview and Greenville Highway to allow resident access. The city said this arrangement is intended to minimize disruption for those living in the affected area.

The closure is necessary so crews can safely address the water leak and complete repairs efficiently. Residents are advised to plan accordingly due to possible traffic delays or detours during this period.

Further updates regarding the reopening of Park Avenue or changes in schedule may be provided by city officials as work progresses.
