Of the 3,328 people living in Flat Rock in 2019, 55.9 percent (1,860) were women and 44.1 percent (1,468) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Asheville News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 785-to-555. In the 65 and over age range, there were 902 females and 728 males.
