Of the 2,549 people living in Edneyville in 2019, 45.7 percent (1,165) were women and 54.3 percent (1,384) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Asheville News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 795-to-724. In the 65 and over age range, there were 141 females and 171 males.
