Blue Ridge is seeking new food truck vendors

Blue Ridge Community College issued the following announcement on Aug. 31.

Blue Ridge Community College (the College) is soliciting letters of interest for food truck vendors for our Henderson County Campus located at 180 W Campus Drive in Flat Rock, North Carolina. The College is looking for food service from food truck providers Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m to 2 p.m.

Successful food truck vendor(s) must be totally self-contained and meet the minimum sanitation standards as required by the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

It is the general practice of Blue Ridge Community College to encourage participation from HUB vendors in the establishment, preservation, and strengthening of small businesses and businesses owned by women and minorities and to encourage their participation in procurement activities.

Prospective food truck vendor(s) must submit letters of interest via email to Blue Ridge Community College at the following address no later than 5 p.m., EST, on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021. Please indicate in your letter what days of the week you can provide food truck service during Sept. and October. Letters of interest can be emailed to carolyna@blueridge.edu.
