Transylvania County Library issued the following announcement on Jan. 1.
When the wind is blowing and cold temperatures are creeping in, Adult Winter Reading at the library provides a unique opportunity to hoard some books for reading enjoyment, gnaw on some new knowledge and get nutty about new worlds. This year’s theme is Squirrel Away Some Good Books!
Call, come by the front desk, or go online to register beginning Monday, January 3. Read or listen to 5 books during the winter reading dates and complete an entry card by phone, in person or online for a chance to win.
