Of the 1,392 people living in Hoopers Creek in 2020, 56.7 percent (789) were women and 43.3 percent (603) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Asheville News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 39. In the 65 and over age range, there were 118 females and 78 males.
