Of the 2,782 people living in Edneyville in 2020, 43.9 percent (1,221) were women and 56.1 percent (1,561) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Asheville News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 156. In the 65 and over age range, there were 190 females and 172 males.
