The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce is a proud presenting partner of the Apple Festival Races presented by Hunter Subaru. This event has something for runners of every level with an individual 8K, team 5K, and Chick-fil-A Mini Moo Mile.

The 8K follows a certified course, winding through scenic Hendersonville and Laurel Park, starting and ending at the Pardee UNC Health Care Cancer Center at 805 6th Ave. West in Hendersonville. The race begins promptly at 8 am.

Grab 3 of your fastest friends, family, or co-workers and join the Chamber Challenge Team 5K. This event also starts and ends at the Pardee UNC Health Care Cancer Center and will start with the 8K participants at 8 am sharp.

The Chick-Fil-A Mini Moo Mile is a one-mile fun run/walk for the young or young at heart and will start a few minutes after the 8K race begins.

*Register by August 1st to guarantee your race shirt and size preference. This year's shirt is a performance wicking material and is offered in unisex sizing running true to size but slightly fitted, size up for a looser fit.

The entry fee for the 1-mile event is $10 and can be registered in advance or the day of the race for the same price. Singlets are not included for the Mini Moo Mile, but each participant receives a finisher's prize.

Race-day registration for the 8K and Mini Moo Mile event starts at 6:30 am. All fun run participants receive a finish award and awards for the 8K and 5K races will be given to the overall male and female, masters, and top three finishers in the standard age groups.

For more information or to volunteer to help with the event, contact the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce at 828-692-1413.
