U.S. Congressman Chuck Edwards, representing North Carolina's 11th congressional district, is set to host an in-person town hall meeting on Thursday, March 13. The event will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at A-B Tech’s Ferguson Auditorium in Asheville, NC.

The doors for the town hall will open at 5:00 p.m., and it is open exclusively to constituents of the district. Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis until the venue reaches capacity; no tickets are necessary for attendance.

Certain items are prohibited within the auditorium, including large bags or purses, signs, weapons such as guns and knives, noise makers, and any form of speakers or megaphones.

During the town hall, Congressman Edwards plans to provide an update on recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene and will also address questions from attendees.

Edwards expressed his enthusiasm for engaging with constituents by stating, “I’ve had many constituents ask me lately if I could hold another live town hall. The answer is most emphatically, yes. Being accessible, listening, and answering questions for the people of WNC are among my favorite activities, even if we might not always agree. That is why in my first term as a congressman, I held eight in-person town halls. I am eager to host the ninth one in Asheville."
