Of the 10 gas stations in cities within Transylvania County, just one offers premium gas.
The average price of premium gas in North Carolina was $4.15, compared to $4.13 the week before.
Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
