Astronomy Club of Asheville recently issued the following announcement.
This event will start at 6:30 pm on Thursday, December 5th, 2019 with an appetizer social hour and browsing time for the items to be auctioned. The Auction will start promptly at 7:30 pm. Back by popular demand will be our auctioneer from last year, Randy Latta, and he is guaranteed to be just as humorous and entertaining. Find a list of some of the auction items below.
The Astronomy Club of Asheville brings many events throughout the year to the public for free. There are guest speakers, community stargazes, and outreach events at local schools and community groups. This fundraiser will help us to continue to bring the wonders of the night sky to the Asheville community.
LOCATION: UNC-Asheville Reuter Center, Manheimer Room on the bottom floor.
This year, we’ll have four wonderful door prizes, so be sure to pick up a ticket when you arrive!
