Town of Laurel Park issued the following announcement on Dec. 15.
Leaf collection begins October 25th. Loose leaves may not be piled on the right-of-way after December 5th. Please make sure piles are free of limbs, rocks, and other objects that may injure employees and damage equipment.
Leaf collection is a very slow and labor-intensive process, and the schedule is affected by weather and other Town activities. There are over 33 miles of roads to clear, by either blowing the leaves where possible & vacuuming up where necessary.
Bagged leaves are collected first, so if you want your leaves picked up ASAP, simply bag and fill out the form on our website at www.laurelpark.org for collection within 3 business days.
