* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Georgia, western North Carolina andupstate South Carolina near the Blue Ridge Escarpment. Thisincludes the following areas: in northeast Georgia, Rabun County.In western North Carolina, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell,McDowell, Haywood, Henderson, Macon, Mitchell, Jackson,Transylvania, and Yancey Counties, plus mountainous areas of Polkand Rutherford Counties. In upstate South Carolina, mountainousareas of Greenville, Oconee and Pickens Counties.
