From February 1, 2023 post.

February is Black History Month and over the next weeks we will be celebrating local landmarks, buildings, areas and businesses that have significant meaning in the Black community and greater community across Hendersonville and surrounding areas.

There are many, many more places, details and information that could be included in these posts – these are intended to give a glimpse into the important contributions of our local Black community to the fabric and landscape of Hendersonville.

Throughout February we hope you will share additional information on the locations so we can all learn more and grow our knowledge and appreciation as a community. If you have personal knowledge or experiences to share about these landmarks, please comment and add photos of the landmarks! February is Black History Month and over the next weeks we will be celebrating local landmarks, buildings, areas, and businesses that have had significant meaning in the Black community and Hendersonville and surrounding areas.
