On 01/26/2023 at approximately 1:21 p.m. search crews located Osha Ray Berry, Mr. Berry was located in a remote area in close proximity to the Frying Pan Fire Tower.
Mr. Berry has been removed from the woods and is currently being treated for exposure related injuries and is being transported to the hospital.
Mr. Berry is currently in stable condition and will be evaluated further at Transylvania Regional Hospital where he was transported to by Transylvania Rescue and Transylvania County EMS.
No further updates will be provided on this case.
