In 2022, Haywood County had 72 alcohol related crashes with 1 fatality. If you decide to drink and drive this St. Patrick’s Day, luck will NOT be on your side. Local law enforcement plans to increase patrols to keep impaired drivers off the roads during the statewide St. Patrick’s Day Booze It or Lose It enforcement campaign, through March 19th. Consume responsibly and have a plan to get home safely!
