Sheriff Kevin Turner was recognized tonight by the Danny Kendall Johnson Foundation for his continued support of the Danny Kendall Foundation at the Von Braun Center.
The purpose of The Danny Kendall Johnson Foundation is to publicize and provide the country with vital information concerning the programs that the foundation supports within this region. This foundation provides the public with current information regarding legislative laws regarding the impairment of individuals driving during sleep, drunk or other impairments. They also identify families that need support and comfort to deal with their own tragedy needs.
The Danny Kendall Johnson Foundation was created in memory of Danny K. Johnson, the son of Susan and Danny Johnson. The Johnsons lost their second son on March 24, 2016, due to an impaired driver. It is their goal to have an impact on the community by being involved in legislation and providing support to those in similar situations.
