Congressman Chuck Edwards (NC-11) on May 10 issued the following statement on new evidence discovered by the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability on the Biden family investigation.
The most recent findings from bank records exposed new details about the millions the Biden family made from foreign nationals and complicated transactions that appear to attempt to hide their business schemes.
Edwards released the following statement:
“The House Oversight Committee has obtained thousands of pages of financial records that show the Biden family’s clear attempts to peddle influence through business schemes across the globe during Joe Biden’s time as vice president.
“These records raise serious questions about the president’s previous involvement with foreign actors and any potential threat to our national security. Anyone who enters public office and misuses their power and influence is a stain on our democratic system and demonstrates classic swamp creature corruption.
“Any and all foreign entanglements that the Biden family is involved with should be fully investigated. Americans deserve transparency and accountability, and the Oversight Committee will continue to follow the president’s money trail and bring forth legislative solutions to prevent such corruption.”
